Calvin M. Huen, DMD

Originally from South Brunswick, New Jersey, Dr. Calvin Huen received his dental degree from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. There he was nominated to join the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontics Honor Society and awarded dean’s list. After graduating he completed a general practice residency at Hackensack University Medical Center rated by U.S. News as the #1 hospital in New Jersey. Prior to dental school, Dr. Huen attended Saint Peter’s University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology in three years, graduating summa cum laude. While there, he was a founding member and first vice president of the Gamma Sigma chapter of the Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry Honor Society. Regularly attending continuing education courses, Dr. Huen consistently strives to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in dental techniques and technology in order to provide his patients with the best quality of care. He is regarded by both the people he works with and his patients as being genuinely friendly and caring. Dr. Huen is currently a member of the New Jersey Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

Joseph R. Shapiro, DDS

Dr. Joseph Shapiro has treated patients from his East Brunswick office for almost 30 years. He has earned repeated recognition as a “Top Dentist” by New Jersey Monthly Magazine, most recently in 2019, recognizing his commitment to the highest standards of dentistry. He has also been recognized as a "Best Of The Best" by the Home News Tribune as well as a USA "topDentists" selection.

A summa cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, Dr. Shapiro was also Phi Beta Kappa and received a Presidential Award for Undergraduate Research in Chemistry. He went on to the University of Maryland's Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, where he received his DDS degree and was selected for dentistry's highest honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, while contributing to published research in dental bonding. Upon graduation he was selected to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital's one-year General Practice Residency program.

Dr. Shapiro is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the New Jersey and Middlesex County chapters. His continuing education spans hundreds of hours of advanced study including concentrations in dental implants, prosthetics, and oral rehabilitation and is a certified Invisalign practitioner.

Dr. Shapiro and his family have lived in East Brunswick for over 30 years. Dr. Shapiro has been active in a number of community activities, including coaching youth sports. He is an avid golfer, enjoys traveling, and participates in many sporting and fitness activities.

Richard Rollman, DDS

Dr. Richard Rollman has combined his passions for helping others and dentistry into a career that has spanned more than three decades. For the past five consecutive years, Dr. Rollman has been named a “Top Dentist” by NJ Monthly magazine’s annual statewide survey of licensed dentists, certifying the trust his fellow dentists place in him.

Dr. Rollman graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979 with a BA in Biology. He graduated with distinction from New York University College of Dentistry in 1983. He continued his post-graduate training at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital’s General Practice Residency Program, which afforded him the opportunity to work with and learn from the top dental specialists in New Jersey.

After completing his residency, Dr. Rollman was invited to join the staff at RWJUH, becoming the Director of the General Practice Residency Program in 1985. As Director of the Residency Program for 18 years, Dr. Rollman selected, instructed and trained 5 post-graduate dental students each year. During his tenure, Dr. Rollman provided complex care to patients that were physically and mentally challenged, as well as those suffering from traumatic injuries resulting in the need for emergency and reconstructive dental treatments. He also attended to the dental needs of the nursing, medical and administrative staff of the hospital, many of whom he still treats today.

Dr. Rollman completes an extensive curriculum of advanced continuing education coursework annually, concentrating on dental implants, comprehensive restorative treatments and the medical aspects of dental practice.

Dr. Rollman is an active and founding member of the Central New Jersey Dental Study Club, which is comprised of a select group of dentists who have met once a month for over 30 years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, NJ Dental Association and the Middlesex County Dental Association. Dr. Rollman is a longtime member of the East Brunswick Rotary Club, as well as an active member of his local synagogue, currently serving on both its Board of Directors and its Men’s Club Board of Directors.

Dr. Rollman and his wife Cindy have resided in East Brunswick for almost 25 years. They are the proud parents of four children. In addition to spending as much time as he can with his family and friends, Dr. Rollman enjoys tennis, golf and reading.
